Getting back on track again

Well, I just finished my workout and feel great!  A little shaky because it’s been a while, but none the less feeling good.

I started back seriously on Monday and found that I’d gained 3 pounds.  My goal was to lose 19 pounds by my birthday in June and to see that it was now 23 pounds was devastating.   I had worked hard to get under that milestone and managed to at least maintain that weight over the last 4 months.  It was like I was stuck…ever had that, um what they call a “major plateau”?

Anyway, maybe that was a good thing to show me how easily I can gain it back without even realizing it.

So Monday and Tuesday I stayed off the carbs, didn’t eat past 6pm and started exercising again.  This morning I lost those 3 pounds (probably a good chuck of it was water) and was quite relieved.  Now I can continue on my goal from my original weight and push harder always knowing that it can creep up on me.

Tonight , as I said, I worked out.  It’s a workout I created myself from all the various things I’ve learned.   It worked before where I lost my original 3o pounds so why not keep doing what works?  I’ll try and alternate walking and hmmm what should I call it???  how about my floor routine?

Signing off to make some eggs for my exhausted, over worked son who’s just getting home for dinner after a full day of soccer and track.  Oh to have his energy!
